Your database is hosted on a powerful dedicated servers running FileMaker Server Advanced software.
Because this is mission critical, all sensitive components are in pairs. Your data is stored on a “RAID” level 1 disk array (2 mirrored hard drives) to protect you from drive failure.
We set our servers up using the FileMaker "3 server model". One server for the database files, one for the web publishing engine and one for IWP/PHP requirements. This ensures better load balancing and response time for heavy load situations such as shopping carts, delivering thousands of records to clients, sharing with hundreds of FileMaker users or thousands of web visitors, etc.
Backups are done daily on a separate drive with a 7 day archive. We also store a weekly archive and monthly archive at a separate location. Additionally, 3 Square's fast and wide connection to the internet is redundant to prevent down time.
